Frequently asked questions
What does the setup fee cover?
We build your custom-branded website, configure your dashboard, set up Stripe payments, import your existing data, and walk you through everything. You don't lift a finger.
Are there per-registration or per-transaction fees?
No fees from NextShift on the Free or Club plans beyond the listed processing rate. On Organization, we waive our cut entirely — you only pay Stripe's base rate.
Can I switch plans later?
Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade at any time. If you outgrow Club, moving to Organization is seamless.
What if I need help after setup?
Club plans get 48-hour support response. Organization plans get dedicated same-day support. We're real people who understand hockey — not a helpdesk.
Is there a contract?
No long-term contracts. All plans are month-to-month. Cancel anytime.
Do parents need to pay for anything?
No. Parents and players access your team through your branded website and the NextShift app at no cost to them.
